#tdc4931 #ds106 Book Spine Story.

For today’s daily creative activity, I had to craft a story using only the titles of books on my bookshelf. Here was the interesting part, I could only use their spines. I explored my shelves, selected a handful of books, and stacked them so their spines told a story-one title at a time. The goal was to let the sequence of books form a narrative, and allow the viewers to put together the pieces.

“Hold Tight,” he whispered, his voice trembling.

“Talk With Your Hands,” she signed, confused but intrigued.

“Answering Why?” he asked, his eyes staring deep into her soul.

“A Civil Action,” she waved, stepping closer.

“Tell No One,” he signed back, almost pleading.

“The One Thing?” she smirked back. She knew how concerned he was and wanted to put him at ease.

“What Would Jesus Do?” he signed, half-jokingly and half in fear.

“Checkmate!” she signed back enthusiastically.

“Search the Scriptures?” he asked unconvincingly.

“Be A Teacher!” she waved at him with a smile.

“Sweetness and Power…” he signed back to agree, finally clicking for him.

“Miracle Cure!” she waved back. From this point on they hoped for the best.

#tdc4933 #ds106 Muppets.

For today’s daily creative activity, I had to take an image and use an AI generator to create a version of me that appeared as a Muppet. The AI generator I used was bylo.ai.  My Muppet version has large round eyes, nose and lips, showing my cheerful mouth, facial hair, and braided hairstyle, showing texture in all the right places around my face. The clothing stayed exactly the same, down to the top button being undone and even the top portion of my glasses in my shirt pocket. The background however changes and does not match. The background is a reddish-purple gradient, allowing the sole focus only on the Muppet version of me. Overall, the image blends familiarity with whimsy. The essence of the original photo is captured, but the Muppet version is stylized to create an added layer of cheer and playfulness.

#tdc4935 #ds106 Handwritten.

For today’s daily creative activity, I wrote a poem by hand and captured it in a photo. Inspired by the lush fullness of summer trees-and the quiet reminder that their leaves will begin to fall-I wrote about a single leaf enjoying its decent. The poem follows its gentle journey through the air, basking in sunlight and warmth as it drifts toward the ground.

A single leaf in the morning sun

Whispering soft, free-falling, having fun

Its veins flowed with life and light

As it dove to the ground, no end in sight.
